Casting switch-ups are so exciting! This means that we get no real indication for what's going to happen at the Prada/Balenciaga shows beforehand, unless that Alexander-Wang-opening-slot-thing still translates into Balenciaga (and possibly Prada?) bookings.

Like new designers at old labels, I feel like all the new-hires are going to play it safe. I'm expecting nothing groundbreaking: the usual 6-12 breakout girls, and the rest of the blue chip bookings going straight to an elite circle of 60-75 usual suspects. I foresee no burgeoning Arizonas, Saskias, Agynesses...maybe an Irina Kulikova if we're lucky.
